- ESSENCE part 1 (n=800 analysed): steatohepatitis resolution 62.9% vs 34.3%, fibrosis improvement 36.8% vs 22.4% at 72 weeks. Participants had MASH and mostly obesity; benefit may be partly weight mediated. Clinical outcomes (cirrhosis, decompensation) awaited in part 2.
